Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Pub staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering excellent guest services, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring the smooth operation of the pub. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in food and beverage service while providing memorable experiences for our patrons.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and take orders efficiently, ensuring prompt and courteous service Serve food and beverages accurately, adhering to food safety standards Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, supporting kitchen staff where required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts Handle cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols Manage guest queries or complaints professionally, aiming for high levels of guest satisfaction Support bar operations during busy periods, including refilling supplies and cleaning equipment

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is important Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Experience in guest services or upselling techniques is desirable Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
