Reporting to the Commissioning Team Manager for Substance Misuse and Inclusion Health, the role will help with commissioning high quality and well performing drug and alcohol services in Peterborough and delivering the outcomes locally from the National Drug Strategy from Harm to Hope.

The Public Health Team was set up in September 2024 so you will be joining at a really exciting time as we are now established and working to strengthen pubic health interventions right across the Council and across our City. The team's work is focussed on helping to reduce health inequalities, health improvement, health protection and contract monitoring.
All about You
The Council is looking for someone with:
knowledge of the principles of commissioning and the commissioning cycle along with performance monitoring
Good at partnership working and developing relationships with a number of key bodies and individuals
Experience of developing and leading projects; implementation and monitoring of public health projects
Analytical skills and ability to put together data reports from a range of sources
