About the Role





The holder of this post will play a key analytical role, working with the Public Health team and with senior managers, to analyse population health and wellbeing related data, interpreting and reporting on the results and providing advice and guidance on analyses. The data will be targeted at a number of different audiences both external and internal, and will require the development of different presentational approaches. As well as having theoretical knowledge of research methods and statistical analysis either demonstrated by a degree with an analytical component, or equivalent experience in an analytical role, the successful candidate will have:


Extensive experience of analysis, interpretation and presentation of health or social care data; A high degree of interpersonal skills; The ability to converse at ease with our internal and external stakeholders. Understanding of information governance A flexible approach to work;

About you





We are looking to appoint a candidate with


Degree level qualifications Extensive experience of analytics and bringing together different sources of data. Experience of project management and good time management skills A good understanding of public health A good understanding of information governance Good communication and interpersonal skills

We are looking for an individual who would like to be part of the team that is shaping Cheshire East's health and wellbeing story. Our Public Health team fosters a culture of education, professional development and partnership working and achieved UKPHR Employer of the Year award in 2023. Our embedded public health team has decades of experience and enjoys good relationships across the Council and wider health and care system.
