Stone Junction is looking for an account manager to join its team. To apply for this role, you must have
at least three years
of experience in another PR or marketing role, ideally working on
B2B, technology, engineering or scientific campaigns.
If you're a chartered or accredited PR practitioner, even better.
This position would suit someone who is ready to step up in their career and take control of a portfolio of client accounts. The role will see you develop new campaign strategies, maintain client relationships and organise the workflow of the accounts you manage.
Experience of managing people is attractive,
but not essential. You would also be occasionally required to travel to client meetings, when required.
A core part of this role is the ability to
produce high quality content
for our clients. These include global engineering companies, technology firms and scientific research projects -- so you must be interested in this area of industry. We also expect a knowledge of technology, science and engineering

thorough understanding of digital PR tactics
and experience of using
Google Analytics
and
SEO tools
.
Please note we require all new starters to attend the office full time for the first three months, moving to a hybrid model following this period.
This means we ideally require you to live within a one hour commute of Stafford, or be open to relocating.
Skills required:
Exceptional writing and proofreading talent, with the ability to produce content about technical subjects
A good network of contacts in the trade media, with demonstrable experience of attaining national coverage
Excellent digital skills with examples of SEO, social media and paid media work
Ability to plan budgets and strategise campaigns accordingly, providing reports on campaign performance against targets
Confidence providing strategic counsel and consultancy to clients
Tenacity to win new business by creating new business proposals and pitching to potential new clients
