Our team includes consultants from leading UK institutions such as Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL and Imperial, as well as mentors from top global universities.

As our global reach continues to expand across China, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, we are strengthening our brand presence and external communications. We are now seeking a talented Public Relations Officer to support our engagement with international partners, media outlets, educational institutions and clients.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for a skilled communicator who can shape TalentBoost's public image, manage media relations, and support our strategic expansion by delivering clear, credible and culturally aware messaging across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver PR and communications strategies to strengthen TalentBoost's profile in the UK and international education markets. Produce press releases, media statements, newsletters, briefing notes and other communication materials aligned with the company's brand and mission. Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media platforms, and partner institutions across the UK, China and other key regions. Manage the company's presence across digital and traditional media, ensuring accuracy, consistency and high-quality messaging. Coordinate interviews, public appearances, education exhibitions and promotional events in collaboration with internal teams. Monitor media coverage, track campaign performance, and prepare regular reports with insights for senior management. Support crisis communication planning and ensure timely responses where reputational issues arise. Work closely with consultants and leadership to communicate achievements, new programmes and cross-border partnerships.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field. Proven experience in PR, communications, or media relations. Excellent writing ability, with strong command of professional English and the ability to convey complex educational topics clearly. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills, with cultural awareness relevant to Asian and UK markets. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Competence with PR tools, media monitoring platforms and social media management.
Desirable

Experience within the education sector, international student recruitment, or cross-border consultancy. Mandarin language ability is advantageous but not essential given our international client base. Experience working across UK-China communication contexts.
