About the Role
As
Sales & Marketing Administrator
, you'll play a vital support role within our busy Sales & Marketing team. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers and assist with everything from reporting and invoicing to licensing, data integrity, and marketing support. The role involves close coordination with colleagues across departments--including editorial, marketing, and finance--so you'll need to be both a team player and highly organised.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market and competitor research
Generate and analyse usage data using systems such as Google Analytics
Assist with customer invoicing, licensing, quotations, and renewals
Coordinate orders and communication with subscription and sales agents
Handle incoming queries with professionalism and direct them appropriately
Support new customer proposals and onboarding processes
Maintain CRM and sales data to ensure accuracy
Register payments and assist with financial tracking
Help research and evaluate new sales models and opportunities
What You'll Bring
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
A keen eye for detail and confidence with data and reporting
A proactive and analytical mindset
Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused approach
Experience using CRM or sales systems (preferred, but not essential)
A genuine interest in academic publishing or the life sciences
