Pump Engineer
to join our team.
The Role:
As a Pump Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of pumping systems across water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure pumps and associated equipment operate at optimum efficiency, minimising downtime and maximising performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, and maintain a range of pumps, motors, and associated equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on pumping systems.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
Support commissioning activities and testing of new installations.
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues.
Complete accurate reports and maintain service records.
About You:
Previous experience as a Pump Engineer, ideally within the water or wastewater industry.
Strong mechanical and/or electrical knowledge with the ability to fault find.
Experience with centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps, and associated control systems.
Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, ONC, HNC, or equivalent).
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
