Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and exceptional communication skills, enabling them to effectively engage with clients and provide tailored solutions. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our technical offerings and customer needs, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

Duties

Engaging with clients and potential clients via email and over the telephone Take details of specific requirements and then recommending a solution to the client Giving quotations over the telephone Sending proposals over email Dealing with Suppliers to obtain quotations for products Dealing with technical queries over the telephone and via email Chasing outcome of quotations sent Input of orders onto Sage 200, and appropriate Purchase orders

Experience

Proven experience in a sales engineering role or similar position within the Pump industry is preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building strong client relationships. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an understandable manner in English. Proficient user of Microsoft packages. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Basic Salary up to 34,775 Plus monthly bonus (OTE 39,000+)

Monday to Friday 08:30 - 5:00pm
