Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Punch Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery used in the production process. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with precision and attention to detail. The Machine Operator will play a crucial part in ensuring that production targets are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Duties

Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance during production runs. Assemble components using hand tools, ensuring accuracy and quality in fabrication. Perform grinding, welding, and other metalworking tasks as required. Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment, identifying any issues that may arise. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve production efficiency. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and understanding tooling processes is essential. Familiarity with welding techniques and metal fabrication is advantageous. A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work is required.
