We are looking for a highly skilled and committed Pupil Engagement Officer teacher to

embrace an exciting opportunity to further develop bespoke provision for learners within the Pupil Referral Service.



The Monmouthshire Pupil Referral Service is a growing service that is working alongside the Local Authority to continue to strive for excellence, in a provision that prioritises wellbeing. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to our Pupil Referral Service. The successful candidate will work with pupils who present social, emotional and mental health needs.



Monmouthshire Pupil Referral Service are committed to developing the potential of all staff and pupils. A full programme of training and support helps foster the trauma-informed and restorative practice we know underpins sound pedagogy. The successful candidates will contribute significantly to supporting our pupils in an experienced, open and collaborative team.

SALARY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION

: Salary would be pro rata if not working full time hours or 52 weeks per year.

i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers

Temporary End Date

(if applicable): 31/07/2026

Location

: Monmouthshire Pupil Referral Unit South, Mathern, NP16 6LA, United Kingdom. This may change in the future if the service location needs to relocate. Relocation or disturbance expenses will not be paid if this happens.
