Job Description

General Responsibilities

To support and assist the Accounts Manager to facilitate the smooth and efficient control of the accounts function of the company.

Duties of the role

Purchase Ledger

oAdminister Shines accounts email inboxes.

oPost all PL invoices to relevant accounts, nominal codes and departments in Sage

oElectronically file all PL invoices received for approval

oAmend invoices in Sage if departmental managers identify allocation correction

oReconcile all supplier statements, requesting any missing invoices from suppliers

oCheck all creditor accounts for any unallocated/unreconcilled bank items and unposted invoices.

oRun creditors reports each month to produce a payment schedule

oAllocate bank payments to each account once payment run has been completed

Amex and Business charge cards

oReconcile all American Express and Charge Card Statements.

oEnsure that all receipts are received - requesting any missing receipts from card holders.

oProcess all receipts to Sage - identifying & posting VAT where applicable

oEnter all transactions to Sage

oElectronically file statements

oReconcile statements against payments in Sage

Other administration duties as required.

We require an experienced Purchase Ledger administrator with an eye for detail and accuracy.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
