We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring timely processing of invoices. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software to support the overall financial operations of the organisation.
Responsibilities
Process and manage purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
Manage the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association membership data base ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Support the Royal Norfolk Show reception team as the first point of contact in the lead up to the show and on show days
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist with data entry tasks related to accounts payable and other financial records.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Liaise with suppliers regarding payment queries and maintain positive relationships.
Utilise accounting software such as Sage, for efficient record keeping.
Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
Proficiency in accounting software including Sage.
Experience in accounts payable processes is preferred.
Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams. .
