An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Finance team as a

Purchase Ledger Clerk

. We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented professional to support our expanding Pan-European Finance operations from our modern Holgate Park headquarters in York.


This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career in a fast-paced, growing business. Reporting to the Management Accounts team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of supplier transactions.

Key Responsibilities



Processing purchase invoices through to payment stage Matching invoices to purchase orders and goods received Handling supplier queries and ensuring timely resolution Investigating and following up on invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams Managing the Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) list Performing supplier statement reconciliations

What We're Looking For





To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Previous experience

in a finance role such as Purchase Ledger Clerk, Accounts Assistant, or Accounts Payable A

qualification

or equivalent experience in a numerical discipline (e.g., mathematics, finance, accounting)

Advanced Excel skills

and proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience using accounting systems (e.g., Access Financials) and bespoke platforms Strong

analytical ability

and attention to detail Sound

commercial awareness

and professional judgement A proactive, self-motivated approach to work in a dynamic environment Experience working with

European suppliers

(desirable but not essential)
