ABOUT THE ROLE
Prime Trading Group is looking for an organised, self-motivated Purchase Ledger Clerk within our Glasgow Head Office.
We are looking for an outstanding candidate who will work well in our office environment, and who can grow their career alongside the firm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the tracking and recording of all purchases made on credit from suppliers, providing a comprehensive record of outstanding payments and facilitating effective cash flow management as part of our Accounts department within this growing business.
You will need to be very hands-on and have a 'can-do' attitude. You will be very much a people person. You will have the ability to maintain good client relationships and have excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Match purchase orders to delivery notes and invoices
Query any overcharging on invoices
Check Supplier statements
Run an aged creditors list and chase for invoices where Direct Debits have been placed on account with no invoice to match to
Reconcile suppliers' statements - That all invoices have been received and outstanding value is correct
Raise payments through Sage Intacct & generate weekly payment run
Raising invoices
Assisting in sending out the weekly invoices
Ordering stationary
Procurement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as Purchase Ledger Clerk or equivalent
Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles
IT Literate, including MS Office
An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Experience within Security Industry would be an Advantage!
