We are looking for a

Purchase Ledger Clerk

to join our finance department on a 3 months fixed term contract.

The role



The key responsibilities you could be looking after include:

Manage the purchase ledger across group entities including approvals, payments and reconciliations; including accurate and consistent coding of invoices Manage the expenses process across group entities including approvals and payments Complete weekly supplier BACS runs, ensuring all suppliers are paid within agreed timeframes Complete weekly employee expense BACS runs Accurate posting of monthly company credit cards, obtaining and chasing receipts Complete bank account reconciliations Complete Pre month end and month end duties; allowing timely close of Purchase Ledger Assist in the preparation of detailed accruals and prepayments Process journal entries within the general ledger where required Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders within Finance and Operations. Ad hoc tasks and as when required

Essential Knowledge and Experience



Essential:

Relevant experience in a Purchase Ledger role Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word). Highly numerate and articulate
Preferred:

Access Dimensions experience advantageous
