Philip Dennis Foodservice is a well-established family business distributing Frozen, Chilled and Ambient goods as well as Fresh Butchery and Fresh Fish products to customers throughout the South West of England, Oxfordshire and the Midlands.
The Role:
We are seeking a studious and self-motivated Purchase Ledger Clerk to support & maintain our Accounts Payable Department. With responsibility for the daily processing of Supplier invoices and overall administration of the Ledger. Alongside this role you will provide additional support to the accounts department and the wider company as and when required.
The Person:
Being a people person, you'll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to individuals at all levels with tact and confidentiality. You take an analytical approach to your work (known for your excellent verbal, written and numerical abilities), and demonstrate strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. Possessing good IT skills, you're experienced working with spreadsheets, databases and other company systems, along with having a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. With a positive outlook and 'can-do' attitude, you always deliver excellent customer service and aren't fazed by working in a fast-paced environment with changeable workload.
