Purchase Ledger Clerk
to join the team and support the accurate processing of supplier invoices, credits, and queries.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, reliable, and detail-focused -- whether you already have purchase ledger experience or are looking to develop your skills within a structured, supportive environment.

What you'll be doing
Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently
Matching invoices to purchase orders and liaising with departments to resolve queries
Checking calculations, including VAT, to ensure invoices meet purchase ledger standards
Reviewing goods received against invoices and accruals
Investigating and resolving internal and external supplier queries
Scanning, archiving, and maintaining accurate invoice records
Answering incoming calls and responding to email queries
Working closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business
Contributing ideas to improve processes and efficiency within the department
What we're looking for
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Confidence working with numbers and financial data
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
Comfortable using IT systems, including Microsoft Office
A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to work
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines
Previous purchase ledger experience is helpful, but
not essential
