The Role

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive

Purchase Ledger Clerk

to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling delivery notes with invoices and purchase orders, and performing monthly reconciliations of supplier statements. Due to the complex cross-hire invoice process, any experience in this are would be highly desirable. Additionally, you will set up and maintain supplier accounts, ensuring smooth financial operations and efficiently handling supplier payment queries to foster positive company relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices by reconciling delivery notes with invoices received and corresponding purchase orders Perform monthly reconciliations of supplier statements Set up and maintain supplier accounts Ensure smooth financial operations while supporting the wider finance team Efficiently manage supplier payment queries to maintain positive business relations

To Secure This Role You Will Need

Essential:

Experience in an equivalent purchase ledger role

Desirable:

Knowledge of Sage 200 and InspHire software Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team

Working Hours & Benefits

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm or 7.30am - 4pm

Salary:

circa 30k per annum based on experience

Annual Leave:

25 days plus bank holidays
