Purchase Ledger Clerk
to join our finance team on a part-time basis.What We are Looking For:
We are seeking someone who brings both experience and a positive attitude to the role. The ideal candidate will have:
A confident and friendly nature At least 12 months' experience in an accounts department Familiarity with Sage 200 or similar accounting software (Eque2 Construct is a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel Understanding of the CIS scheme A professional and courteous telephone manner
Key Responsibilities:
Match purchase ledger invoices with corresponding orders and input data into Sage Report invoice discrepancies to the Finance Assistant Reconcile supplier statements monthly and resolve inconsistencies Attach delivery notes to invoices for accurate record-keeping Perform monthly credit card reconciliations Enter internal stock sheets into Eque2 with precision Process weekly and monthly payment runs Maintain filing systems and archive documents efficiently Adhere to company Health & Safety policies and report any concerns to the Business Manager
