As part of a new team based in Somerset, you'll play a key role in building an efficient and supportive finance function within a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Processing purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner
Matching, batching and coding invoices
Supplier statement reconciliations
Preparing payment runs and resolving supplier queries
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records
Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting
Supporting the wider finance team as required
Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and time management skills
Familiarity with accounting software and Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
