A well-established and thriving business based in Thirsk is currently on the lookout for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly and fast-paced finance team on a permanent basis. On offer is a competitive salary of 25,000 - 28,000, plus some brilliant benefits.
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be:

Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
Preparing payment runs and ensuring all payments are made within deadlines
Assisting with month-end tasks and ledger reporting
Supporting internal departments with any invoice or payment queries
Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Keeping financial records up-to-date and audit-ready

To be successful in this Purchase Ledger Clerk role, you will ideally have:

Previous experience working within a finance or purchase ledger role
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
A confident communicator who enjoys problem-solving
The ability to manage your workload independently and prioritise tasks
