Purchase Ledger / Finance Person – Tameside

Job Description
Our established Tameside client require a Purchase Ledger Executive to join their busy team. This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months:
Duties:
- Process and input high volumes of invoices accurately into the accounting system
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare payment runs and ensure suppliers are paid on time
- Assist with month-end procedures and reports
- ACS payments
- Maintain organised records of invoices, payments, and transactions
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve payment-related queries
- Proven experience working in a similar role, handling purchase ledger duties
- Foreign currency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial information
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Hours - 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
