Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with an interesting and well-established business based in Worksop, who are looking to welcome an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to their team!

You will be joining a small finance team, with a truly warm and friendly environment to come in and hit the ground running! Your role will be mostly Purchase Ledger based, however you will also have exposure to various areas of accounts so you can expect a varied role with lots to get stuck into. This role is working within an exciting industry, offering a supporting and friendly working environment, staff discounts, free parking and company pension.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your duties will include:
- Accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit notes, payments and other transactions for the Accounts Payable ledger
- Match purchase ledger invoices
- Reconciliations (including petty cash)
- Management of supplier statements
- Handling incoming queries
- Communicating with various departments and suppliers
- Expense banking
- Bank statement posting
- Stock checks
- Assisting with month end when required

What we\'re looking for:
- Experience in Purchase Ledger/Accounts Assistant roles
- Good eye for detail
- IT literate
- Strong organisational skills
