We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring fencing materials and farm supplies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of products, working closely with branch managers, the web site and the board.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate suppliers for fencing and farm supplies.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand.
Ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer needs.
Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize procurement processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of fencing materials and farm supplies.
Ability to analyse market trends and supplier performance.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in procurement software.
