The RoleAre you detail-oriented, organised, and ready to support a fast-paced supply chain team in the aviation sector? Draken Europe is looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our team and play a key role in supporting our supplier approval process and procurement operations.
?? About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll be responsible for providing administrative support to the supplier approval and audit process, managing purchase orders, and maintaining procurement systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a dynamic and mission-critical department.
Key Responsibilities
Complete new supplier set-up and reapproval/audit processes
Review purchase requisitions against the preferred supplier list
Process and amend purchase orders as required
Expedite orders and maintain the open order book
Produce management information reports
Ensure procurement system compliance with internal procedures
What You'll Bring
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A collaborative team player with excellent organisational skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel knowledge desirable)
Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
Financial and commercial awareness
Ability to obtain and hold SC-Level security clearance
