WHAT ARE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?



Job Overview



The Purchasing Administrator will support the Purchasing Manager in managing supplier relationships, maintaining accurate purchasing records, and ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities



To maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, including purchase orders, supplier information, and inventory data. Monitor supplier performance and highlight any issues or discrepancies. Highlight market trends and supplier data to support sourcing decisions. Ensure timely delivery of goods and compliance. Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and priorities. Assist with general administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as required. Support the team with urgent or priority purchasing requirements. Update internal systems with relevant purchasing and supplier information. Assist in resolving invoice or delivery discrepancies with suppliers.

Required Skills



Highly organised with the ability to prioritize tasks and to manage workload effectively. High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Previous experience in an administrative role (within purchasing would be desirable). Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external suppliers. Fluent English - excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer literate with strong Excel experience and other Microsoft Office applications. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data. Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated with a proactive approach. Pay: 26,000.00-29,000.00 per year
