We're looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to keep our procurement processes running like clockwork. Based in our London office and just a short walk from Bank underground, you'll play a key role in a busy, supportive team, juggling details, building supplier relationships, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

What you'll be doing...

As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will support the procurement team by managing the administrative and operational aspects of purchasing activities. You will ensure timely processing of purchase orders, maintain supplier relationships, and help keep procurement processes running smoothly.

Coordinate purchase orders and track their progress from requisition to delivery Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve any issues Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation in line with company policies Support the procurement team with supplier communications and contract management Assist with supplier evaluations and performance tracking Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with other departments to forecast purchasing needs Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and regulatory requirements Provide regular updates and reports to management on purchasing activities

Working pattern:

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

What can you bring?

Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and relationship management abilities Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office applications Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues Knowledge of purchasing policies and regulatory compliance is desirable
