About the Role
As
Purchasing Manager
, you'll lead a high-performing procurement team and shape strategy to deliver real business impact. Your focus will include:
Driving smarter buying and profit improvement through strong negotiation.
Designing procurement frameworks to optimise working capital and supplier terms.
Building long-term supplier partnerships and managing global supply chain risk.
Introducing KPIs, workflows, and reporting tools to embed continuous improvement.
Collaborating across Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams to align with S&OP and improve cash conversion.
This role offers autonomy, strategic influence, and the chance to transform procurement in a growing business.
What We're Looking For
Significant procurement experience (typically 5+ years or equivalent expertise)
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Leadership or mentoring experience
Excellent commercial acumen and analytical ability
Experience in distribution/manufacturing (desirable)
ERP purchasing systems knowledge (desirable)
CIPS Level 5 (or working towards)
