Purchasing Manager
to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential to support construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, deep knowledge of construction materials, and the ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals.
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with vendors.
Track inventory levels and coordinate timely delivery of materials to job sites.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports.
Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other departments to forecast material needs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Excellent knowledge of construction materials and suppliers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
