Job Description

Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation design, develop and manufacture thermoplastic piping systems for civils and infrastructure projects with the industry's widest choice of water management, surface water drainage, sewer and cable protection systems.

The role:

Working as part of a team, responsible for the safe and correct location of finished goods, ensuring that this is maintained to highest quality. This is an integral part of the company's stock control system and therefore requires continuous attention to detail.

Working hours:

This is working 4 on 4 off covering 2 days & 2 nights, 12 hour shifts.

Key Accountabilities:

Report to shift leader to establish duties for the shift ahead. Complete handover with previous Putaway driver to be made aware of any special instructions. Confirm that you have the most up-to-date yard plan. Remove all finished products from PR locations. Items then need to be placed in the correct storage location. Whilst carrying out the above tasks if you encounter any problem with storage please contact your Shift Leader. Ensure that all storage that is carried out by yourself and others is good condition, stacked correctly and in the right location. Ensure housekeeping in the area is consistently maintained to a high standard In addition to the tasks in this job description you will be expected to carry out any other task that can be reasonably expected.

The person:

Able to accurately complete paperwork. Proven ability to work well within a team. Willing and able to lean new skills. FLT Licence.
