Thovex Ltd, founded in 2019, is a software company building Landstack -- a Software as a service (SaaS) platform that provides a standardised, detailed and industry leading land and planning dataset on top of a powerful GIS platform. Landstack is already used daily by some of the largest housebuilders, promoters and agents within the land and development industry. You will be given the opportunity to work with our bespoke data sets that are unique to the industry and unparalleled in detail.

We are seeking someone with a natural interest in technology and innovation, who is inquisitive and confident enough to build tools that challenge and provide better solutions to problems that have beset the industry for decades. Importantly, you will be passionate about having a career in AI powered software development and understand the important role that automation and machine learning play in a modern day working environment.

We are looking for a Python Developer with 3 or more years of industry experience working and shipping Python code, to join our talented team of developers. You will be involved in maintaining, designing, building and implementing various regular and LLM powered software systems using Python that can categorise, extract data from and simplify various bespoke datasets. You will be responsible for:

- Maintaining, overseeing and implementing the complete development of different automated systems to enhance the quality of data we collect and improve the speed and efficiency of our collection processes.

- Maintaining and improving our existing AI/LLM powered systems that are used on a daily basis by professionals in our market.

- Working with the development team to integrate the systems into the wider platform.

A candidate must have:

- Knowledge of Python

- Strong Programming ability.

- Experience building, writing code and working with Large Language Models

- Good communication skills.

Some non crucial (but helpful) skills would be:

- Great Version control knowledge (git/Bitbucket etc)

- Familiarity with modern machine learning methodology.

You would be expected to work 37.5 hours a week. We have core work hours of 10:30 - 3:30, with the rest of the time each week filled in to suit your working preference.

This is a full time position, with 20 days paid holiday a year (excl bank holidays). Salary is 40,000-60,000 depending on experience.
