We are working with an innovative biotech that are looking to use synthetic biology to produce textile dyes to ultimately reduce the 5 trillion litres of water per year that goes into the dying industry. They are currently Series B and have large reception from the fashion industry. This is a diverse and inclusive business with company culture at the heart of everything they do.

What you will be doing

We are looking for an ambitious Python Developer to join the Informatics Team who can contribute to the writing documenting testing and reviewing of Python code. Participate in software architecture design and write automation scripts to support every aspect of the business. This role would report directly to the Head of Informatics.

What experience you will need:
  • Previous commercial experience as a Python Developer.
  • ASGI Frameworks and toolkits \'\xc2\x93 Starlette FastAPI.
  • Experience with Python database toolkits and object-relational mapping.
  • REST API HTTP Websockets.
  • Git
  • MacOS Linux.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project delivery skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Great people and leadership skills.
