About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled

Python Developer

to join our growing distributed team in the UK. Whether you are a recent graduate, a mid-level developer, or a seasoned engineer, this role offers the opportunity to work on exciting, scalable, and modern applications in a fully remote environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based applications, APIs, and services. Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features. Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Troubleshoot and debug issues across development, testing, and production environments. Contribute to technical documentation and process improvements. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on experience with

Python

(from academic, internship, project, or professional experience). Solid understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms. Experience with at least one Python framework (e.g.,

Django

,

Flask

,

FastAPI

, or similar). Familiarity with version control systems such as

Git

. Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern application architectures. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and remote-collaboration abilities. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis). Knowledge of testing frameworks (PyTest, UnitTest).
