About Q Two:



Q Two Consulting is a privately owned quantity surveying and project management consultancy established in 2019.

As a business we offer a combination of quantity surveying, project management, project monitoring and dispute resolution services.

We currently work across a range of sectors across the UK including; residential, commercial, defence, industrial and marine.

Our philosophy is to provide a personal, flexible, and high-quality service with every project we deliver, forming long term relationships with our clients and consultant teams. This is reflected in the approach our staff take and will be an essential requirement for any new team member.

Range of Projects - Broad exposure to a diverse array of projects across key sectors such as defence, residential, high-end residential, commercial, industrial, and marine. Mentorship and training - You will be allocated a specific mentor who will be a senior member of the Q Two team. Access to in-house and external training resources and exposure to every stage of projects from day one are just the start of training resources on offer. Professional Development - support through chartership e.g. RICS, CIOB, APM or other relevant bodies. Collaborative Culture - We promote innovation, integrity and inclusivity at Q Two.
We expect our Graduates to be proactively working towards achieving chartership in their proposed pathway. At Q Two, we can offer the following to assist in your development:

Whilst the financial package is guaranteed to be competitive, the successful candidate will be offered a package suitable to their experience and level of ability.

Who we are looking for:



Graduates completing their degrees in Summer 2026 or recent graduates in 2025, but noting this position commences in Summer 2026 Ideally, applicants will have a property related degrees such as Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Building Surveying or Property Development. We are also willing to review degrees outside of this, however, the applicant needs to demonstrate they are committed to a career in property and construction. Candidates with strong analytical and communication skills Passion for the built environment and a desire to get stuck into construction projects at every stage A proactive mindset and willingness to learn Commitment to achieve Chartership in the candidates preferred pathway (See above)

The Roles:



Project Management:



Support the day-to-day coordination and delivery of project activities Assist with multiple projects for key clients, ensuring consistent delivery and client satisfaction Contribute to business planning initiatives Assist in the preparation of project documentation, progress reports, and key deliverables Attend project meetings as required throughout the project lifecycle Produce tailored reports aligned with specific project stages and stakeholder needs Contribute to the leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary design teams Assist in conducting feasibility assessments, including site surveys, investigations, and evaluations Monitor on-site contractor progress and provide timely updates to the project team Develop capabilities to act as the primary point of contact, taking ownership of all project aspects and maintaining clear communication with clients Provide strategic support to clients and stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making Foster and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and project consultants Prepare Master and Construction Programmes Undertake the role of Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent under JCT Contracts (or support senior staff with the same) Uphold the highest standards of professional integrity and technical competence Providing a timely service delivery with all client commissions Providing support to the wider Q Two team Participating in business networking events including those sponsored by Q Two

Quantity Surveying:



Oversee all facets of cost management from project inception through to completion Assist with multiple projects for key clients, ensuring consistent delivery and client satisfaction Contribute to business planning initiatives Develop high-level feasibility studies, cost estimates, and cost plans across all design stages Assess building design costs and alternative proposals to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints Prepare comprehensive tender documentation and manage the tendering process Analyse tender submissions, provide procurement advice, and deliver clear recommendations to clients Offer expert guidance on building contract terms and conditions Participate in project meetings, produce financial reports, and monitor project financial status Implement rigorous post-contract cost control, assess variations, and negotiate final account settlements Foster and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and project consultants Uphold the highest standards of professional integrity and technical competence Providing a timely service delivery with all client commissions Providing support to the wider Q Two team Participating in business networking events including those sponsored by Q Two

What will the application process involve?



Our Graduate Scheme application process is as follows:

An initial screening, which involves the applicant submitting their CV and covering letter. Following this, successful applicants will be invited to interview which will incorporate aptitude tests, relevant to the role applied for. Candidates should come prepared by re-familiarising themselves with their completed university course modules as examples of course work may be requested. References may be requested if available. Upon successful completion of the above a further interview may be requested if deemed necessary.

Location:



Our office is currently based in Hursley, Winchester, Hampshire. We are an expanding company and an office move is likely, however, we will ensure our office location is within the Winchester area. Candidates should be within a reasonable commute of the office and have a driving license.

Our Projects are typically located within the South of the UK, on occasion, there may be a necessity to travel beyond this (all expenses paid by the Company), which may even include international travel, which candidates should be open to.

Qualifications and experience required:



GCSE's or equivalent; minimum 4 - 9 (A to C) in English and maths.
2:1+ in your undergraduate degree, property / construction related degrees advantageous but not essential Some experience in construction advantageous but not essential
