Overview


Q Two Consulting are currently looking for a competent construction Project Manager to join our growing team. The role will be based in our Hursley (Winchester) office.

We are open to approaches from individuals with varying levels of experience, our key requirement is finding someone who we believe has the right attitude and will be a good fit for the team. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is a chartered member of either the RICS or APM (or working towards this) and is capable of running their own projects.

Q Two Consulting is a privately owned quantity surveying and project management consultancy established in 2019.

As a business we offer a combination of quantity surveying, project management, project monitoring and dispute resolution services.

We currently work across a range of sectors across the UK including; residential, commercial, defence, industrial and marine.

Duties



Support the day-to-day coordination and delivery of project activities Manage multiple projects for key clients, ensuring consistent delivery and client satisfaction Contribute to business planning initiatives and support senior leadership in securing repeat and new business opportunities Assist in the preparation of project documentation, progress reports, and key deliverables Attend, lead, and document meetings as required throughout the project lifecycle Produce tailored reports aligned with specific project stages and stakeholder needs Contribute to the leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary design teams Assist in conducting feasibility assessments, including site surveys, investigations, and evaluations Monitor on-site contractor progress and provide timely updates to the project team Develop capabilities to act as the primary point of contact, taking ownership of all project aspects and maintaining clear communication with clients Provide strategic support to clients and stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making Foster and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and project consultants Prepare Master and Construction Programmes Undertake the role of Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent under JCT Contracts (or support senior staff with the same) Uphold the highest standards of professional integrity and technical competence Providing a timely service delivery with all client commissions Providing support to the wider Q Two team Participating in business networking events including those sponsored by Q Two
We are ideally looking for a commercially focused PM, who from time to time will be able to assist with QS duties as required to support the business.

Skills required:



Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficient in using Microsoft Project Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth within a supportive environment. Qualifications and Experience required:



GCSE's or equivalent; minimum A to C in English and maths. BSc in quantity surveying/ project management or equivalent preferred but not essential Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Association forProject Management or other professional body is preferable but not essential A minimum of three years' technical experience gained within either a consultancy or contracting capacity Pre- and post-contract experience Wide ranging sector experience covering the high-end/ prime residential and office fit out sectors, warehousing and defence, preferrable Experience of different procurement routes Experience of working with various forms of JCT Contract Experience of working with NEC Contracts is preferable but not essential
