What you'll be doing:

Build and enhance bespoke QA solutions for our clients Enhance and grow your engineering knowledge among subject matter experts in our learning and development ecosystem Deliver high quality, best practice software solutions Use a range of architectures, tools and frameworks Have the opportunity to learn and gain certification in new technologies Recommend, implement and knowledge share new ideas and innovations Work as part of a dynamic team Produce clean and efficient solutions based on specifications Liaise with clients

Please note, this role will require

3 days per week on-site in Belfast

Qualifications

Experience and skills required:

Minimum 2+ years experience in a QA role Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data across backend (e.g. Python, Java, kdb+, Postgres) and frontend (e.g. React) systems. Solid knowledge of SDLC, agile and appropriate tooling Ability to collaborate with product owners, developers, and other QA team members to define and execute test plans and strategies. Strong programming skills for automation of manual test plans. Use of Gherkin/Cucumber for testing in a Behaviour Driven Development environment. Strong interpersonal skills for working with development team to find and fix bugs. Ability to analyse, document, and track bugs. Basic SQL skills for data investigation Basic kdb+ is highly advantageous but not essential Use of AWS infrastructure and UNIX/Linux skills is also advantageous
