What you'll be doing:

Build and enhance bespoke automated QA solutions for our clients Deliver high quality, best practice software solutions Use a range of architectures, tools and frameworks Have the opportunity to learn and gain certification in new technologies Recommend, implement and knowledge share new ideas and innovations Work as part of a dynamic team liaising directly with clients Produce clean and efficient solutions based on specifications

Please note, this role will require

3 days per week on-site in Belfast

Qualifications

Essential requirements:

Minimum 2+ years experience in a QA role Demonstrable experience creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data across backend (e.g. Python, Java, kdb+, Postgres) and frontend (e.g. React) systems. Strong programming skills for automation of manual test plans. Solid knowledge of SDLC, agile and appropriate tooling Ability to collaborate with product owners, developers, and other QA team members to define and execute test plans and strategies. Use of Gherkin/Cucumber for testing in a Behaviour Driven Development environment. Strong interpersonal skills for working with development team to find and fix bugs. Ability to analyse, document, and track bugs. Basic SQL skills for data investigation

Desirable requirements (highly advantageous but not essential):

Basic kdb+ knowledge/willingness to learn kdb+ Use of AWS infrastructure and UNIX/Linux skills Prior experience of working in Capital Markets/Investment Banking
