About the role







The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by developing and executing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, and identifying defects and issues. The QA Engineer will work within the development team to ensure that all software products meet the required specifications, are user-friendly, and perform as expected. Additionally, the QA Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving testing processes and tools to ensure high-quality products are delivered to customers.

What you will be doing





Roles and responsibilities include:




Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software products meet requirements Perform manual testing to identify defects and issues Collaborate with development team to identify and resolve issues Ensure that software products are user-friendly and meet customer needs Develop and maintain documentation related to testing procedures and processes Continuously update testing skills and knowledge to keep up with new technologies and best practices Ability to identify test cases which could be automated Identify, record and document bugs. Coordinate release testing Assist with other project related activities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet functional and technical specifications

Who we are looking for





The successful candidate will demonstrate:




Education: You will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience: You will have at least 2 years of experience in software testing. Testing knowledge: You will have a solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices. Problem-solving: You will have strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail. Communication and collaboration: You will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams. Independence and teamwork: You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Database testing: You will have experience performing database testing. API testing: You will have knowledge of API testing tools and techniques. SaaS testing: You will have experience testing SaaS-based software applications.
Although not essential, it would be advantageous to have the following:


Experience with automated testing tools Experience with Postman Exposure to AI tooling e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Co-pilot or similar. Familiarity with working in an Agile environment Knowledge of Zephyr Squad Knowledge of QAWolf
