Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing, analysis, and continuous improvement processes. Duties

Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and plans for functional, system, performance, load, and user acceptance testing. Utilise test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and JUnit to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis on defects and issues identified during testing phases to facilitate prompt resolution. Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing within the SDLC using CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and TFS. Perform API testing using REST and SOAP web services to ensure seamless integration across systems. Execute performance testing using LoadRunner or similar tools to evaluate system stability under various load conditions. Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand project scope and translate business needs into effective test strategies. Support release management activities by verifying software releases meet quality standards before deployment. Assist in troubleshooting software issues across different operating systems including Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. Document test results accurately and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes.

Skills

Extensive experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber (software testing tool), JUnit, and Appium for mobile testing (Android & iOS). Strong knowledge of SDLC models including Waterfall and Agile methodologies like Scrum. Proficiency in programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, PHP, SQL (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server), PL/SQL (Oracle), and scripting with Bash (Unix Shell). Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, SVN, TFS for continuous integration/delivery pipelines. Familiarity with web services protocols including RESTful APIs and SOAP; understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA). Knowledge of performance testing tools like LoadRunner; system testing; functional testing; unit testing; user acceptance testing; regression testing; UI/UX validation. Strong analytical skills for data analysis and business requirements gathering; ability to troubleshoot complex software issues effectively. Experience with version control systems like Git and organisational tools such as Jira for issue tracking. Understanding of operating systems including Windows and Linux; experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams; attention to detail is essential for delivering high-quality results.
