We want you to be:




An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the software engineering team that builds our leading in-house claims system. We're looking for experienced, highly motivated software testers to help us to improve and maintain the integrity, quality, and performance of our core systems that will redefine the modern claims experience for our clients and their customers. We use a combination of technology, bright people, and bright ideas to ensure that our claims are cost-efficient, while delivering a superb customer experience.

We'll need you to be able to:



Work independently, and as part of a highly skilled team to ensure the consistently high quality of the systems that drive our business forward. Coordinate with the development of in-house claims system in line with industry best practice. Take an active part in mentoring members of the team to help enhance the quality of the work they produce, the testing that they carry out on their own work, and to allow you to continue to strive for incrementally improved quality throughout Identify, reproduce and accurately describe defects in applications, and work with developers and product owners to ensure an adequate solution is achieved Build a suite of automated integration tests that ensure that key components of the system work together as expected Build a suite of automated end-to-end tests that ensure that the application works as expected for our users Ensure that automated testing is supported by manual QA testing where appropriate to bridge gaps in areas that either cannot be automated, or where automation is not feasible at this time. Provide adequate estimates for testing processes to ensure that expectations are correctly set Demonstrate that solutions meet requirements by participating in show and tell sessions, and by demonstrating test outcomes. Demonstrate a desire to take ownership of your work and maintain excellent attention to detail. Maintain a suitable level of specialist understanding through continuous development and learning. Constantly seek and communicate iterative improvements in the processes and tooling that we use. Undertake any individual or team task in line with the company values.

We're Looking for:



Experience / knowledge



Minimum 2 years commercial manual QA testing experience Experience working in an agile team (SCRUM) Demonstrable experience with unit testing, integration testing and/or E2E testing Experience testing both traditional web applications and Single Page Applications (SPA) Technical troubleshooting

Experience of the following would be advantageous:

Azure DevOps Azure Cloud Platform (PaaS) Insurance claims processing Test Automation Software (Selenium/Playwright/Power Automate etc.) Test frameworks such as XUnit, NUnit, JUnit, TestNG etc. Experience testing cross-platform mobile web applications and/or Progressive Web Applications (PWA)

Basic Salary 35,000-40,000 (DOE) as well as market leading benefits.
