PEM Engineering & Construction (PEMEC) are a petrochemical engineering company with knowledge and experience of Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Projects, Maintenance, Shutdowns, Labour Sourcing, Petrochemical, Oil, Gas and Construction Industries. Our head office is based on Sutton Fields, Hull , where we also have a Pipefitting/Welding workshop to supply our clients with bespoke project welding/pipe work.

We are seeking a skilled and proactive

QA Inspector

to oversee quality assurance activities on our site in Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance processes to meet regulatory and client requirements. Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Oversee product testing, validation, and release processes to maintain high-quality deliverables. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize quality standards. Manage non-conformities, root cause analysis, and corrective actions across all sites. Ensure all documentation and records comply with industry and company standards. Provide training and guidance to staff on quality policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a QA Engineer role, preferably within pharmaceutical or oil & gas sectors. Strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, etc.). Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
