The key accountabilities of the role:
Develop and maintain test cases using internal strategies and tools
Operate as a key member of the UK development squad, participating in agile ceremonies
Execute test cases, plans and processes to deliver a thoroughly tested product free of critical defects
Help ensure our Definition of Ready and Definition of Done are adhered to whilst working with your squad members.
Document test outcomes clearly and share results with clients as required
The key responsibilities of the role:
Review requirement documentation and Jira tickets to ensure clarity and completeness
Design and execute test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria
Provide QA sign-off that development is release-ready
Analyse test results and communicate findings to developers and product owners
Manage all levels of testing (system, integration and regression), including creation and maintenance of test data
Propose solutions for identified product or client issues
Participate in client meetings to address QA-related questions and challenges
Organise, attend and document QA discussions, acting as the QA representative
Utilise Jira and Confluence daily to track progress and maintain project artefacts
The key requirements for the role:
High emotional Intelligence
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Excellent attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to multitask effectively
Comprehensive understanding of web application testing
Consistently meet deadlines
Rapid learner of new applications, features and business process
Collaborative team player with developers and stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Resilient under pressure and able to handle work stress
Proficient in documenting test details using tools such as Jira and Confluence
Development of educational or training material a nice to have
Knowledge of software testing practices and methodologies
ISTQB Foundation certification preferred
Knowledge of the Justice sector highly regarded but not essential
5+ years of enterprise QA experience is a must
Experience in automated testing beneficial, and experience using Katalon an added advantage (or similar tools)
Experience in the Justice sector highly regarded but not essential.
