About The Role




Role summary:





The role requires maintenance of quality standards by ensuring approval of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products as well as recording quality results.



Responsibilities:


Conduct Vendor QC Inspections / Audits and site visits both on and offshore Check and approve equipment and fabrication pack / data dossiers Manage and coordinate QA of the QC Inspection i.e. SIR's, defects register, punchlist sign off etc WPS selection for PD&MS construction works Coordinate third party inspectors to satisfy quality plan requirements Monitor and measure vendor quality performance, conduct analysis and report trends Compile and issue QA/QC Reports Liaise with Procurement and Materials department to ascertain Inspection schedules Assist with the development, management and continued improvement of QC system in alignment with management system Attend and input to quality meetings Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner Adherence to the company integrated management system Compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies Demonstrate and promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by example Ensure unsafe activities are challenged Adherence to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes in the undertaking of duties, in particular, risk assessment and control, reliability and failure prevention necessary to ensure the safe design, provision and use of tools, equipment and systems Demonstrate and promote PD&MS values and lead by example

About You



Qualifications:


CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or equivalent

Experience / competence:


Previous experience in a similar role Good understanding of Codes/standards requirements, typically ASME, AWS, BS EN and DNV Good understanding of the Company held certification standards Demonstrable experience of delivering a safe operation in the work environment Competent in the use of MS Office Applications Offshore certification Excellent written and spoken English Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining environmental, quality assurance and quality control systems (preferred) Demonstrable exposure to and understanding of NDT techniques and processes (preferred) Understanding of contractual, commercial and cost issues (preferred) Demonstrable experience in conducting Audits (preferred) Demonstrable experience of Risk Management (preferred)
