The Role:
We are hiring our first QA/Test Lead to build and scale quality assurance across our growing suite of SaaS products. This is a hands-on role where you'll define test strategy, implement automation frameworks, and embed QA into every step of the SDLC.
Working closely with engineers, product managers, and DevOps, you'll help us catch bugs early, ship reliably, and build confidence in every release. You'll play a critical role in shaping our testing culture from day one.
Your Responsibilities:
Define and Own the End-to-End Test Strategy
+ Develop a comprehensive QA strategy covering data pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS), APIs, and reporting tools ensuring coverage across functional, performance, and integration testing.
Build and Maintain Automated Testing Frameworks
+ Design and implement automated test suites across the platform, focusing on critical flows from data ingestion to dashboard/report outputs.
Embed QA into the Development Lifecycle
+ Collaborate with engineers during sprint planning and development to ensure early testing and minimal bugs at release.
Establish Release Quality Gates
+ Define test coverage benchmarks, release criteria, and drive quality standards across the platform--ensuring consistent, reliable production releases.
Mentor Engineers on Testing Best Practices
+ Act as a quality champion, coaching developers on unit, integration, and regression testing, and fostering a culture of test-first development.
About You:
4+ years of hands-on experience in software testing/QA, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or senior QA role.
Strong experience testing SaaS/web applications, APIs, and data integrations within a cloud environment (preferably AWS). This includes functionality, performance and security testing.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices within Agile/Scrum environments.
Proven experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
Proven experience of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into release workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence quality culture across teams.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
ISTQB certification or equivalent.
Familiarity with compliance standards such as Cyber Essentials or ISO27001.
