We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated

QC Bioassay Associate

to join our Quality Control team in Wrexham. In this role, you will be responsible for the routine testing and reporting of drug product and drug substance batches, ensuring compliance with GLP, cGMP, and regulatory standards. You will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards through laboratory testing, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, playing a key role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our products.

Responsibilities:



Perform testing for of drug product and API for batch release and stability, including data entry into LIMS and trending systems. Perform routine tissue culture activities, prepare media and reagents using aseptic technique. Analyse data using statistical software and assess results against assay suitability criteria. Maintain laboratory equipment, perform stock checks, and ensure a clean, compliant working environment. Support SOP updates, investigations, method validations, and customer complaint analysis. Contribute to audits, inspections, and continuous improvement projects within the QC Bioassay function.

Knowledge, skills and experience:



Degree in a relevant subject e.g. Biology or equivalent experience Experience with lab techniques Familiarity with aseptic techniques Attentive to detail, methodical and accountable
