2. WHAT WE LOOK FOR:



We are looking for a

QC & Production Technician

to join our growing team. This role will primarily support

quality control (QC)

activities to ensure product quality and compliance with internal and external standards. When not engaged in QC responsibilities, you will also contribute to general

production activities

alongside the Production team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Quality Control & Materials Management



Develop, perform, and improve

QC procedures for all products. Evaluate final products to ensure

compliance

with customer specs.

Manage

QC records, batch data, and product release documentation.

Oversee

incoming raw material inventory and store room organisation.

Lead

internal non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.

Support

supplier evaluations from a quality assurance standpoint.

Maintain

calibration and service schedules for QC & production equipment.

Conduct

annual internal audits aligned with ISO 9001 standards. Help

implement

and maintain ISO 9001-compliant QMS processes.

Manage

packing, labelling, and finished goods inventory.

Production Activities



Take part in

day-to-day production activities to achieve throughput targets.

Supporting

& taking part in production process optimisation and scaling-up efforts from lab to pilot scale.

3. YOUR PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS:



We are seeking a highly reliable and adaptable individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality results. You should enjoy working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic lab-based production environment.

You earned at least a

B.Sc., A-level, CGSE or equivalent

with relevant academic and/or industrial experience. Ideally you have a degree in Chemistry (e.g. material, chemical or polymer chemistry) and experience with QC and QMS systems.

Preferably you have prior experience in one or more of the following industries, but this is not required:

- Material production in laboratory setting

- Familiarity with QMS & ISO-9001

- Experience of SOP & Work Instruction generation

- Plant-based or bio-based polymer, lignocellulosic

bio-refinery

, pre-treatment and extraction.

-

Cellulose

material preparation, such as prior experience with suspension, film and coating.

You are

proficient

in various basic laboratory techniques and equipment, which you may optimise independently.

You are keen to engage in a

fast-paced

and exciting working environment in which you will play a decisive role in the company's future success.

You are a

team player

who communicates with passion and accuracy on each project you are part of. Your command of English is good, and you may be fluent in another language.

Experience & skills we value:



Previous experience in laboratory-based material production or quality control. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or other QMS systems. Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility regarding product quality. Experience setting up QC procedures (not just following SOPs). Ability to manage records, inventories, and coordinate calibration/maintenance tasks. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Experience generating and implementing SOPs and work instructions is a plus. Experience in sustainable or plant-based materials, polymers, or coatings is beneficial but not required.

25 - 33k with early employee benefits.
