Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QC Technician to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong understanding of quality control processes, as well as the ability to analyse data and implement improvements. A background in Engineering would be beneficial.

Duties

Working within the QC department carrying out testing of arts and craft products using standard test methodology. Issue out of specification corrections to production personnel. Complete all necessary documentation to support the quality assurance system at Daler-Rowney. Work with the Quality & Packaging Engineer to ensure all aspects of product packaging meet our specifications. Assist R & D with customer complaint investigations. Assist with the implementation of ISO9001 certification.

Skills

Excellent analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on findings. Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field is advantageous. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
