The Role

As

QESH Manager

, you'll lead the way in

Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Health standards

, ensuring our site operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry requirements. This includes maintaining our

BRC Packaging and Packaging Materials certification

, which is central to our reputation for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety Leadership:

Ensure full compliance with UK H&S legislation and company policies. Conduct risk assessments and implement robust safety procedures. Lead incident investigations and drive a proactive safety culture.

Quality Management & BRC Compliance:

Maintain and improve ISO standards (9001, 14001) and BRC certification. Oversee internal audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly. Work closely with production teams to proactively uphold product standards and customer requirements.

Environmental Responsibility:

Manage environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. Monitor waste reduction and energy efficiency programmes.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk. Provide training and guidance to staff on QESH and BRC requirements.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in Quality, Health & Safety, and/or a Compliance role within manufacturing (corrugated or packaging experience is a bonus). Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, ISO standards, and BRC Packaging requirements. Excellent communication skills - able to engage teams and influence positive change. A proactive, hands-on approach with great attention to detail.

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
