QHSE Advisor

Helix Energy Solutions is an international offshore energy services company providing specialist services to the offshore energy industry with a focus on Well Intervention and Robotics Operations.



Helix Well Ops (UK) Ltd (part of the Helix Energy Solutions Group) is currently recruiting for an experienced QHSE Advisor, to be based onshore at Helix House, Dyce, Aberdeen, UK. This is a full-time permanent position and reports to the QHSE Manager.



The QHSE Advisor will provide specialist advice and guidance on all matters regarding Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment (QHSE) to Helix Well Ops (UK) Limited Managers and Staff.



Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE systems, and communicate QHSE programmes and initiatives Participation in hazard reviews and risk assessments. Conduct worksite visits/audits (including travel to offshore worksites) Develop and implement QHSE training. Investigate incidents and non-conformities. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Co-ordinate QHSE enquiries and reports from worksites. Liaise with external bodies such as enforcing authorities, legislative agencies, industry organisations, standards authorities etc.


Experience/Background:

Knowledge of local and international QHSE regulations and standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISM Code). Minimum 3-5 years' QHSE experience in an oil and gas, petrochemical or related industry. NEBOSH or equivalent qualification (completed or working towards) Valid BOSIET, MIST and OEUK Medical (preferred but not essential) * Ability to influence and promote a strong safety culture at all levels.
