Forum Packaging Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Environment and Compliance Manager to join their team.

Forum Packaging is renowned and respected in the paper sack industry for being one of the UK's leading sack manufacturers supplying all types of paper sack to a variety of market sectors.

The Role:



The main purpose of the role is to ensure all quality (ISO9001), hygiene (BRC), health & safety, environment (ISO14001), FSC and ethical trading policies, procedures, and regulations are adhered to. Providing support to the management team and their departments to ensure each area of compliance is regularly reviewed, updated and communicated in accordance with the relevant rules, regulations and certifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and proven work experience in either one or all areas of business compliance to build on their existing skills in a supportive and well established manufacturing business.

Working Monday to Thursday 9 am to 5 pm / Friday 9 am to 4 pm, 35 hrs/wk and reporting to the Director, this is an active role covering all aspects of our site operations ensuring compliance is achieved and maintained to the highest possible standard. The role is responsible for influencing and developing effective working relationships at all levels within the business, so good communication skills will be key. Successful candidates will have the ability to be able to deliver and advise on regulations and procedures in order to build on and develop our current management processes to ensure continuous improvement.

Experience and qualifications



IOSH Managing Safely Certificate is essential, NEBOSH would be preferable. Knowledge and understanding of HSE legislation. 2/3 years proven experience of managing, developing, implementing, maintaining and auditing either quality, health, safety, and/or environmental policies, procedures and management systems. Experience in practical audit and inspection. ISO/BRC recognised internal auditor certification would be an advantage. Managing HACCP certification would be an advantage. Knowledge of FSC UK Chain of Custody would be an advantage. Excellent knowledge and use of all Microsoft Office is essential.

Education



Minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent at grade D or above Minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent at grade 4/5 (C) or above (to include English and Mathematics)
